Accepting applications for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects

The Embassy of Japan in Zambia is now accepting applications for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Project. This is a financial assistance scheme for development projects designed to meet the diverse needs of developing countries in the field of Basic Human Needs and Human Security. This scheme supports projects proposed by such bodies as non-governmental organizations (NGOs), local government authorities, non-profit organizations (NPOs), educational and medical institutions etc. The application for the 1st Cycle (from April to September) of FY 2026 has to be submitted by the end of March 2026 to the Embassy of Japan.
