Ambassador Mikami's Courtesy Call on Hon. Jack Mwiimbu, Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security

On 11^th February 2026, Ambassador MIKAMI Akiteru paid a courtesy call on Honourable Jack Mwiimbu, Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security.
 
Ambassador Mikami and the Minister exchanged views on Japan’s long-standing and continuous cooperation in the refugee and former refugee sectors, while referring to Zambia’s open refugee acceptance policy, as well as cooperation including the maintenance of domestic security and safety.
