JAPAN WEEK 2025
2025/9/1
From 28th to 31st August 2025, the Embassy of Japan in Zambia participated in the Kwimbo National Arts Festival, which was held at the East Park Mall Piazza. During the festival, the Embassy hosted Japan Week in collaboration with the University of Zambia Japanese Club and Nerd Otaku.
During the event, many visitors enjoyed experiencing Japanese culture through activities such as origami, calligraphy, traditional games, and the chopstick challenge. Information corners about studying in Japan and learning Japanese were also available, alongside displays of pop culture like anime and manga.
On stage, three anime films were screened as a preview for the Japanese Film Festival in September, receiving enthusiastic responses.
