"60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Zambia: ODA Public Relations Brochure"
2024/8/7

In 2024, Japan and Zambia celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. To commemorate this milestone, the Embassy produced a brochure, summarising the highlights of notable projects and achievements of Official Development Assistance (ODA) to date and the activities of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV).
Since Zambia gained its independence in 1964, Japan has supported the country's development in various sectors. Through a wide range of projects, including infrastructure development, agriculture, healthcare, education and refugee assistance, the friendship between the two countries has been strengthened.
We hope that this brochure will share the history of cooperation between our countries with a wide audience and contribute to the further progress of our friendly relations.
The brochure can be viewed here.
