Courtesy Call on Honourable Felix Mutati, Minister of Technology and Science

On 30th January 2024, Ambassador Takeuchi paid a courtesy call on Honourable Felix Mutati, Minister of Technology and Science.
Minister expressed his gratitude for Japan's 60 years of support, and especially underscored the cooperation in the area of vocational training by JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCVs) working in a variety of sectors across the country. Minister stated that Zambia is focusing on the ICT sector as it shifts towards a digital economy and would like to deepen cooperation with Japan in this field. Minister expressed his hope for close collaboration with Japan to further strengthen vocational skills of the Zambian youth.
