Visit to Zambia by the Parliamentary Delegation of the House of Councillors of Japan

  The parliamentary delegation of the House of Councillors of Japan, Mr. MAITACHI Shoji and Mr. AOYAMA Shigeharu, visited Zambia to research Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) from 3rd to 6th September 2023. During their stay in Lusaka and Livingstone, the delegation visited Japan’s ODA project sites such as the University of Zambia, the Kanyama Hospital, the Kazungula Bridge and the Livingstone Museum. The delegation also paid a courtesy call on Hon. Situmbeko Musokotwane, Minister of Finance and National Planning, and exchanged opinions on Japan’s cooperation to date and future possible cooperation.
