Call for Commemorative Mini-Essays on the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Zambia

    Next year, Japan and Zambia will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and in 2024 we hope to further strengthen our bilateral relations by through various commemorative events. As part of this, we are calling for heart-warming episodes (mini-essays) about exchanges between the two countries, including memories of exchanges with Japanese people, trips to Japan and study in Japan. We would like to hear about your wonderful memories. We will introduce select mini-essays from among the entries on our Facebook account. One episode will be introduced each month, so please "like" it if it warms your heart. The contributor of the mini-essay with the most likes will receive a small present from the Embassy.
    We look forward to your participation! Entry conditions and details are as follows:
 
Application requirements: Japanese or Zambian nationals.
Application period: 1 August 2023 – 30 November 2024
Contents: Mini-essays on exchange between Zambia and Japan.
Number of words: 100-500 characters for Japanese and 50-200 words for English.
 
Please include the following information in the body of the email:
Applicant information: name (true name, alias or anonymous), nationality (required), age, gender and occupation.
(Your name and nationality in the application information will be made public when the essay is published).
