Courtesy Call on Hon. Mr. Makozo Chikote, Minister of Fisheries and Livestock

On 2 June 2023, Ambassador TAKEUCHI Kazuyuki paid a courtesy call on Hon. Mr. Makozo Chikote, Minister of Fisheries and Livestock.
Ambassador Takeuchi touched on the importance of productivity and market access in the fisheries and livestock sectors, and pledged to continue to work with the Ministry on human resource development and technology transfer as exemplified by the cooperation at the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zambia.
In response, Minister Chikote expressed his appreciation for Japan's huge support and excellent technical cooperation to date, and expressed his hope that the support and cooperation for the establishment of production value chains will continue in the future.
