Ambassador TAKEUCHI attended the the 32nd Swearing-in and Prize Giving Ceremony of the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zambia

On 19 May 2023, Japanese Ambassador TAKEUCHI attended the 32nd Swearing-in and Prize giving Ceremony at the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zambia(UNZA).
In his congratulatory address, Ambassador noted that the UNZA Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Japan have established the close and firm relationship through long-standing personal and academic exchanges and through close cooperation, including the provision of medical equipment and projects to improve the capacity of veterinary surgeons by Japanese grant aid. He underscored that the fields in which veterinary expertise is needed are extremely diverse, therefore that the graduates play an important role in ensuring food safety and security and contributing to Zambia's development. Ambassaodr congratulated them on their successful completion of veterinary school and wished them well in their future endeavours.
Ambassador also handed over certificates of recognition to the students at the ceremony for their excellence.
