Courtesy Call on Hon. Mr. Mike Mposha, Minister of Water Development and Sanitation

On 19 May 2023, Japanese Ambassador TAKEUCHI Kazuyuki paid a courtesy call on Hon. Mike Mposha, Minister of Water Development and Sanitation.
Ambassador TAKEUCHI pledged Japan's continued cooperation in the Ministry's policies and water resource development to ensure clean and safe drinking water, stable irrigation and sustainable supply management.
In response, Minister Mposha stated that water and sanitation play an important role in improving the lives and dignity of the people of Zambia, and he expressed his appreciation for the past cooperation with Japan's advanced technical capabilities. Minister expressed his hope that the support and cooperation between the two countries will continue in the future.
