Courtesy Call on Hon. Mr. Phiri Mtolo, Minister of Agriculture

On 22 May 2023, Japanese Ambassador TAKEUCHI Kazuyuki paid a courtesy call on Hon. Mr. Phiri Mtolo, Minister of Agriculture.
Ambassador stated that Japanese cooperation in agriculture sector is one of the most important areas and pledged Japan's continued cooperation in increasing agricultural productivity, promoting crop diversification and strengthening agricultural value chains.
In response, Minister Mtolo expressed his appreciation and recognition of Japan's huge support and excellent technical cooperation to date, and expressed his hope that the support and cooperation between the two countries will continue in the future.
