Courtesy Call on Hon. Elijah Julaki Muchima, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources

On 18th May, H.E Mr. TAKEUCHI Kazuyuki, Japanese Ambassador, made a courtesy call on Hon. Elijah Julaki Muchima, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources. Ambassador TAKEUCHI pledged Japan’s continued cooperation with the Ministry in policy coordination as well as in capacity building.
Minister Muchima said that the ministry which is responsible for management of state-owned land faces challenges in terms of efficient land management. Hence, it will be necessary to cooperate with other ministries and agencies to advance the level of land management. To achieve that, Minister showed his expectation of technical support from the Japanese government..
Minister recognized Japan as the all-weather friend of Zambia and wished for the continuted cooperation between the two countries.
