At the Reception, the Embassy exhibited Japanese dolls called Hina-Ningyo to introduce Japanese culture. Also available were Japanese dishes, such as Tempura and Sushi, as well as Japanese Sake, attracting keen interest of many people present there.

About 90 guests gathered at the Reception from various fields, including the Government of Zambia, diplomatic missions and international organisations.
