Presentation of the Letter of Credentials to the Secretary General of COMESA

　　On November 17th, 2016, Ambassador of Japan Mr. Hidenobu Sobashima presented the letter of his credentials as Permanent Representative to the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) to His Excellency Mr. Sindiso Ngwenya, Secretary General of COMESA.
 
　　At the presentation ceremony, Ambassador Sobashima explained that Japan has developed its cooperative relationship with COMESA since its establishment of the Permanent Representative in 2009, and expressed his determination to do his best for its further development.
 
　　Secretary General Ngwenya expressed his gratitude for Japan’s cooperation with COMESA and hoped for their further cooperation, especially in the fields of trade and investment.
