Pre-Launch of New Generation Hilux by Toyota Zambia

 

　　On 10 June 2016, the pre-launch ceremony for the New Generation Hilux was held in Lusaka with the presence of Hon. Prof. Nkandu Luo, Minister of Gender, Mr. Shuichi Sakakibara, Japanese Deputy Head of Mission in Zambia, and Mr. Dino Bianchi, Managing Director of Toyota Zambia Ltd. Also in attendance were representatives from the Japanese business community and Toyota’s business partners in Zambia.

 

 

　　Toyota Zambia Ltd has been operating since the 1960s in Zambia, and it has been steadily expanding and investing, establishing regional offices and service stations around the country. In terms of their business, Toyota Zambia does not only sell brand-new quality vehicles, but also provide good maintenance service to their clients.

 

 

 

　　During the launching ceremony of the new Hilux, Hon. Prof. Luo commended Toyota Zambia for investing in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities especially in the health and education sector, and thanked them for establishing service centers around the country, thus contributing to job creation.

 

 

　　The New Generation Hilux is more comfortable and more powerful than its preceding models. It is expected that with the introduction of the new Hilux in Zambian market, the reputation for the quality Japanese cars will be further enhanced, and that it will also add momentum to more investment by Japanese businesses in Zambia.
