Mrs. Hatsuko Takara receives Japanese Ambassador’s commendation


 

 

 

On 13th November, H.E. Kiyoshi Koinuma, Ambassador of Japan to Zambia awarded Mrs. Hatsuko Takara, former chairperson of Zambia-Japan Friendship Association, with the Ambassador’s commendation in recognition of her distinguished service in contributing to the deepening of mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and Zambia

 

Since 1978, Mrs. Takara has been devoting herself to volunteering for various activities, including assistance for Ndola Lions blind school and donation to educational and sport organization, thus contributing to the development of education and community welfare in Zambia. In 1988, Mrs. Takara established the Zambia-Japan Friendship Association and has been promoting cordial relations between the two countries.

 

At the beginning of the awarding ceremony, H.E. Mr. Kiyoshi Koinuma presented his compliments to Mrs. Takara by commending her for the significant contribution she has made to the deepening of friendship between both countries. In response, Mrs. Takara expressed her gratitude for the commendation and stated that she would like to continue to work towards further strengthening of cordial relations between both countries.
