JAPAN FILM FESTIVAL 2013

 

The Embassy of Japan in Zambia hosted the Japan Film Festival 2013 in Lusaka from 1st to 3rd October, 2013 at SterKinekor, Arcades Mall Cinema, where more than 250 people watched Japanese films.

 

Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Tourism and Arts, Mr. George Zulu attended the event and delivered a congratulatory address. Also, H. E. Mr. Akio Egawa, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Zambia, delivered the opening address.

 

Although there are not many occasions available for experiencing Japanese Culture in Zambia, the annual festival is expected to enhance mutual understanding by expanding the relationship between Japan and Zambia through well-produced renowned Japanese movies.
