Embassy of Japan hosts 2013 Japan Day at MandaHill Shopping Mall
On 28 March, the Embassy of Japan hosted cultural exhibition "2013 Japan Day". This is the first ever cultural event arranged by the Embassy at MandaHill Shopping Mall and drew a lot of attention from the shoppers. They enjoyed Origami Paper Folding, Calligraphy, Kimono Modeling, Japanese Tea Service. Also many people took time to take a look at Ikebana Flower Arranging, books and magazines. This event is aimed to deepen the understanding of Japan among the people of Zambia as they experience Japan's culture and thus further strengthen friendship between the two countries.
