Osaka University and Copperbelt University Concluded MOU on Expansion of Mutual Cooporation

On 20th March 2012, Visiting Prof. Hoshino from Osaka University conducted a lecture at Dag Hammerskjold Institute for Peace Studies, Copperbelt University with a theme "Peace Building in Africa and Japan". Before the lecture, Prof. Hoshino on behalf of Osaka University and Mr. , Deputy Vice Chancellor, Copperbelt University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the expansion of mutual cooporation.

This MOU is aimed to boost mutual coopration relatiing security studies between the two universities. The contents include exchanges between students and researchers, and implementation of joint reserch.

It is hoped that through this kind of exchanges academic relations between Japan and Zambia will be further promoted and strengthened.
