Ambassador Egawa visits Prince Takamado Bacis School
On 18th February, 2011, Ambassador Egawa visited prince Takamado Basic School in Bauleni Compound, Lusaka. This school is one of the eight basic schools in the Zambian capital which were built under the Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA) in 1999. The school was named to commemorate the official visit to Zambia by Prince and Princes Takamado in December 1999. Currently, approximately 2700 students are accessing high quality education at the school under the guidance of 48 teachers. It is expected that the school will continue to contribute significantly to the development of human capital for the enhancement of Zambia’s social and economic development.
